Plenty of folks are doing it in 6mm, so I'm not looking to denigrate how anyone does their wargaming. These are just my own peculiar outlook after having played all of them.
-10mm skirmishing can be done (I did "In Country" and "The Last Fifty Yards"), but the big problem I had was getting character into the troops. There are some absolutely gorgeous 10mm figures out there, but I had a hard time with character due to not having enough poses, and the fact there are only two different figure makers for my interests, and they are not really compatible putting them right next to each other (to my taste). I have put all my 10mm troops on multi-figure bases.
-15mm is pretty much the same, though, to be fair, I didn't give a good look at combining troops from different manufacturers to get a satisfactory number of poses. I will use 15mm troops individually based for platoon/reduced platoon-level games, where characters are only really needed for leaders.
-20mm is, to me, where it's at if you're looking to play a game where each figure is a named character, as each figure can be a totally unique pose that is recognizable by his clothing, weapons, and gear. I will use them for team/squad-level affairs where I'm following the exploits of the individual troops.

V/R,
Jack
Just Jackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03552962741823929433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1328749298871119665.post-71064632811082007562015-12-06T17:54:28.345-08:002015-12-06T17:54:28.345-08:00So what's your thoughts on 20mm vs 15mm vs 10m...So what's your thoughts on 20mm vs 15mm vs 10mm ?Weaselhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05873440251698488032noreply@blogger.com
